Mary (Brulia) MEYASH, 91, of The Oaks at Westminster Woods, 360 Westminster Drive, Huntingdon, died at 8:45 am. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003,at The Oaks. She had been in failing health for several months.

Born March 10, 1911, in Ganister, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Thelma (Verbonitz) Brulia. She was married to Frank T. Meyash in Cumberland, Md. Mr. Meyash preceded her in death July 3, 1955.

She is survived by one son, Joseph P. Meyash of Huntingdon. One son, John S. Meyash, preceded her in death. There are three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Mrs. Meyash was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church,Huntingdon, where she was a former member of the Ladies Altar Society. She attended public schools in Alexandria. During World War II, she was employed by the John R. Wald Company, Tyrone. She was later employed at Juniata College, Huntingdon, where she worked in the dining room. Following her employment at Juniata College, she was primarily a homemaker. A resident of Westminster Woods since 1997, she enjoyed sewing, reading and watching television.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 am. Tuesday, Jan. 7, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 524 Mifflin St., Huntingdon, with the Rev. David J. Arseneault presiding. Committal will be made in Holy Cross Cemetery, 245 Standing Stone Ave., Huntingdon.
