Funeral services for Billy Restal Terral were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2001 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, Winnfield, LA with Revs. Lester Carpenter and Wallace Ingles officiating. Burial was at Transport Cemetery at Dodson, LA under the direction of Southern Funeral Home Winnfield.

Mr. Terral, age 73 of Winnfield, LA died Saturday, August 4, 2001 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA.

He was a native of Dodson, LA, and a resident of Winnfield, LA. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, and was a retired automobile mechanic.

He was preceded in death by one son, Glen Terral and two brothers, Clifton Terral and Lindell Terral.

Survivors are his wife, Jewel Terral of Winnfield, LA; one son, Kenneth Terral of Gaars Mill, LA; three daughters, Renee Carpenter of Dodson, LA, Regina Sanders of Joyce, LA and Betty Maloy of Winnfield, LA; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; four brothers, Simpton Terral of Oregon, Jiimmy [sic Jimmy] Terral, Juddy Terral, Lester Terral, all of Dodson; five sisters, Myrtis James of Winnfield, LA, Eva Joe Dye and Lois Mazie, both of Saline, LA, Doris Ruth of Frockland, AL and Othie Dye of Dexter, OR.

Pallbearers were: Brian Sanders, Stephen Carpenter, Josh Dietrich, Leroy James, Eugene Owens and Danny Mathis.

Honorary Pallbearers were: Dewayne Sanders, Gary Carpenter and Jarrell Maloy.
