Funeral services were held in Hickman Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, March 18, for Mrs. CYNTHIA JEAN (JANE) WILSON ROSS, 72, who died Thursday, March 15, at Abbott Rest Home in Burnside. Rev. Levi Cox was the officiating minister.
The deceased, a daughter of the late W. M. Wilson and Lou Whitehead Wilson, was born February 9, 1890 in Wayne County but lived most of her life in McCreary County. Mrs Ross is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Whitehead, Mrs. Gracie Barnett, Mrs.Creasie Griffis; five sons, Jasper, Leamon, Charlie, Lloyd and Ernest Ross, all living in McCreary County. She is also survived by six brothers and one sister, Ale Wilson, Ben Wilson, Cal Wilson, Elihu Wilson, Walter wilson, Shelby Wilson and Mrs. Margaret Barnett.
Burial was in the Nancy Grave Cemetery
