Thelma was raised on her family's farm in Farmington where she learned how to work hard. Following her graduation from Davis High School, Kaysville, Utah, Thelma got a job at Miller Floral. There, she met one of the growers - a young man called "Stub". Soon, the two became serious.

Thelma and Stub worked together on their farm and continued to work at Miller Floral. Thelma put in more than two decades service. She had also worked as a crossing guard for Farmington City for many years.

SONS (3): David (Connie) White, of Syracuse, Utah; Paul (Kay Lynn) White, of Farmington; and Ray (Valerie), of Kaysville; eleven grandchildren nineteen great-grandchildren

Thelma and Stub were life-long members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Both had dedicated their lives to and served in various organizations throughout their lives. Thelma found her time in Primary especially sweet and had served as its president for a time.

She was active in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and had served in several positions within her camp.

Preceded in death by her husband; her mother and father; four brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Farmington Rock Church 272 N. Main, Farmington. Friends may visit Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 North Main St. Farmington, Utah, and one hour prior to the service at the Rock Chapel. Interment will be in the Farmington City Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of Country Care, Applegate Hospice, and Avalon Care Center for their dedication in the past few years helping our mother in the later years of her life.
