Rev. Andrew Jackson Henderson was born the fifth of ten children. His Grandfather Issac immigrated from North Carolina in the early 1800's.
He married Emily Thompson on Sept. 28, 1871 and together they had four children. After Emily passed away he married Nancy Clayton and together they had six children.
He joined Hopewell Church by letter on May 25, 1879 and was licensed to preach in 1893 and Ordained into the Ministry on Sept. 20, 1895.
During his ministry he helped constitute Liberty Grove Baptist Church and became it's fist Pastor in 1910.
