William Hollis Dies at Hospital
VIENNA (Special) -- William Hollis, 88, Vienna, died today at Charles Still Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at a local funeral chapel with the Rev. Wilbur Woodruff officiating. Burial will be in Vienna Cemetery.
Born Jan. 23, 1872, he was married Oct. 1, 1898, to Miss Matilda Wiles, who survives.
Also surviving are seven sons, B. R. Hollis, Doniphan; Leslie Hollis, Dixon; Ray Hollis, St. Louis; Clyde Hollis, Meta; and Everett, Eugene and Willard Hollis, Vienna; three daughters, Mrs. J. L. Gray, Granite City, Mrs. Frank Jones, Vienna; and Mrs. Layman Brumble, Meta; one brother, Robert Hollis, Dixon; 37 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Woodruff of Rolla, Mo. officiating. Interment in the Vienna Cemetery.
