Earla Mae Davis-Ross, was born July 5, 1922, to Saul and Cora Davis, in Wellston, Ok. She departed this life on December 4, 2012. She was the fourth child to the union of Saul and Cora Davis of which there were 9 children. She completed her formal education at Dunbar High School in Wellston, Ok. She later went on to worked at Douglas Aircraft, which is now known as Tinker Air Force Base, in Oklahoma City, Ok. She also worked in various other jobs in different capacities. She was baptized at an early age at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church which is now the Greater Marshall Memorial Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Ok. Earla Mae was reared in a home that leaned and depended on God's word. She was also a very active member in the Eastern Star Lilly of the Valley Chapter #7 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Earla Mae married William Clifford Reed and from this union there were 5 children. Later in life she married George Ross and to that union was one child
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and six brothers and three of her own children, Sandra Reed Chatman, Lois J, Reed-Nelson and Leo Reed. She leaves to mourn a daughter Mary and (Dr. Horace) Howard of Lisman, A son Ronnie Reed (Devora) of Sacramento CA, a cherished and devoted son and daughter-in-law, Dean Ray and (Stephany) Ross, of San Bernardino, CA, two stepsons George Ross Jr., Leonard Ross Sr., of San Bernardino, CA, one sister Dorothy (Davis) Bradford of Oklahoma City, Ok and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and three sister-In-laws.
