Survived by husband, George Klemmer; mother, Sylvia Oberle; brothers, Ron (Marianne) and John (Cindy); sisters, Jane (Dan) Brandt; Elaine (Bill) Dooley and Anne Oberle; nieces and nephews, Jason, Amelia, Tessa, Cullen, Briana, Luke, Mike, Matt and Charles. Marie is also survived by George's family, mother, Patricia Klemmer, Karen Brooks, Jackie (Paul) Anderson, Corrine (Bill) Kaiser, Matt Kaiser, and Paul Klemmer. Preceded in death by father, Eugene Oberle; and father-in-law, Floyd Klemmer.
Marie was raise on a dairy farm in rural Thorp, WI. She graduated valedictorian from Thorp High School. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the U of MN. She also earned her DDS from the U of MN. She spend her career as a Dentist working most recently in Columbia Heights. Marie loved literature, poetry, art, music, politics, travel, and jazz.
