Funeral services for Mrs. Ralph Lewis Jr., the former Sally Victoria Carter, age 62, of New Iberia [LA] will be held Friday June 30, 2006, at 2:00PM in Cox Funeral Home Chapel of Bastrop, La. The Reverends Norris Landry and Mike Loveday will officiate. Burial will be in the Carter Cemetery in Bastrop, La. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2006, from 4:00PM until 9:00PM at David Funeral Home in New Iberia, and will continue on Thursday from 4:00PM until 9:00PM at Cox Funeral Home in Bastrop, La. and from 8:00AM until service time on Friday, June 30, 2006.
Mrs. Lewis passed away on Monday June 25, 2006, at 2:48 PM in a Lafayette hospital. A native of Bastrop, LA, she was a resident of New Iberia for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Leroy Lewis Jr. of Oberlin, La.; 2 sons: Robert Troy Bryan Sr. of New Iberia, La., and Marvin Carey and wife Yvonne Bryan of Lafayette, La; grandchildren are Robert and wife Heidi Bryan Jr. of Lafayette, Issac Bryan and Michael Bryan of New Iberia, La., Daniel Bryan of Newkirk, Ok., Desire Bryan of Atlanta, Kansas; one great-grandchild Brilee Bryan of Lafayette; two brothers: Rev. Victor Carter and Larry Carter of Bastrop, La; also beloved friends Brother Norris and Donna Landry of Hessmer, La.
She was preceded in death by her parents the late Roy Carter and wife Elizabeth Wyatt Carter.
Serving as pallbearers are Robert Bryan Jr, Michael Bryan, Daniel Bryan, and Issac Bryan. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of local arrangements.
