Suggested edit: William Dunbar Allard, aged 80, died at his residence, 714 West Olney Road, yesterday afternoon at 12:20 o'clock after a long illness. He was the son of Richard and Mrs. Virginia Allard, a native of Gloucester County, and a resident of Norfolk for 45 years.
Surviving him are his wife, Lizzie Stubbs Allard; five sons, Capt. Paul Allard, William M., W.E., V.M., and Frank Allard, all of Norfolk; one daughter, Mrs. Nannie Allard Jacques of Norfolk; and several grandchildren.
Mr. Allard held membership in the Brambleton Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 West Princess Anne road. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
