Clark C. Campbell, 79,of Rt. 10 Box 628, Texarkana, Tex., died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in a local hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Texarkana Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. E.H. Winningham
officiating. Burial will be in Redwater Cemetery. Mr. Campbell was a long time resident of Bowie County, was a member of Redwater United Methodist Church. He was a retired farmer and cattleman. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rosie Lee Campbell of Texarkana; three daughters, Mrs. Estelle Edwards and Mrs. Henry Heflin Jr., both of Texarkana, and Mrs. Blanche Short of De Queen, Ark.; seven sons, Tom C. Campbell, R.L. Campbell, Charles William Campbell, and Dwayne Campbell, all of Texarkana, Frank Campbell of New Orleans, La., Buddy Campbell of Big Springs, Tex., and Robert Campbell of Lufkin, Tex., a sister, Mrs. Deanie Eaglebarger of Texarkana; 35 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
