C.L. "Pete" Petree of Yuba City, CA, died 12/31/2000, at his residence, at the age of 72. Born 7/31/1928 in Oklahoma, where he resided for 8 years. He was an administrator for the Navy. Survived by wife, Bernadine Petree of Yuba City, sons, Jim Petree of Citrus Heights, Steve Petree of Sacramento, Mike Stapleton of Lingle, WY, Chris Stapleton of Kearney, NE, stepsons, Richard Vantine of Sacramento, Steven Vantine of Magalia, Terry Vantine of Winsor, Joe Vantine of Antelope, brother, Jim Petree of Alva, OK, 20 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Feather River Ward, Yuba City. Served WWII Navy. Memorial services will be on Friday, 1/5/2001, at 2pm, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Feather River Ward, Yuba City, CA. Private inurnment will be under direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
