Chelsea Hope Smith-Corbett, age 26, of Jasper, FL. passed away Monday, November 1, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Chelsea was born in Eastman, Georgia on November 18, 1983 and was employed by Walmart in Live Oak. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Chelsea was preceded in death by a brother, Jonathan Dyal.
Survivors include her husband, Spencer H. Smith-Corbett; one son, Landan Smith-Corbett; two daughters, Haleigh and Alexandria Day; her parents, Charles Dyal, Kathy Mitchell (William), Vicki Dyal and Ray Gonzales; two brothers, Charlie Dyal and Raymond "Peanut" Dyal; two sisters, Traci Dyal and Amanda Dunnam; grandparents, Nell and Dwight Hogan, Carol and Clarence Overby, mother-in-law, Faye Smith-Corbett.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, November 5, 2010 at New Hope Baptist Church near Jennings. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 5:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday, Nov. 4th at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church (Benevolence Fund), 6592 NW 48th St., Jennings, FL. 32053.
