Carole C. Gilbert 1939 ~ 2010 Our precious Wife, Mother, and Gram, Carole C. Gilbert, passed away on Tuesday March 23, 2010 due to complications from Vascular Dementia. Carole was born on August 24th, 1939 to Jeanne Kluge Chase and Kenneth D. Chase Sr. in Providence, RI. Carole's spirit will forever be in our hearts until we are able to be together again. Carole was an active member of The Delightful Dames Red Hat Society and The GFWC Murray Women's Civic Guild. The family expresses deep appreciation to the entire staff of Silverado Senior Living Center for their loving care of Carole while she was a resident. Survivors include her spouse, Ronald M Gilbert; children, Lorri G. Neerings (Grant), R. Brent Gilbert; sisters, Pam Taylor and Sandi Christensen; brother, Kenneth D. Chase Jr. (Tarne); grandchildren, Brian J. Gilbert, Talia M. Neerings, and Jesse S. Neerings. Additional survivors include her many cherished cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St. Friends and family may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 12-12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
