Mrs. Walter H. Roeck, 62, the former La Verne D. Postel, 1003 West Wisconsin Avenue, Appleton, died Saturday afternoon following a brief illness. Born November 19, 1914, in Fond du Lac, she was a resident of Appleton for 29 years and a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Appleton.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. James Prasher, Menasha, and Mrs. Charles Block, Radisson, Wisconsin; two sons, Charles, Menomonee Falls and Bill, Appleton; two brothers, Elton Postel and Lloyd Postel, Kiel, and four grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at the Wichmann Funeral home and at St. John United Church of Christ, Appleton, the Reverend Bharalt Bhoosham officiating. There was no visitation.
