Rodney Stephen Tanner - A resident of Wilmer, AL. was born on February 25, 1972. He departed suddenly on November 4, 2010. He was a fun-loving person and an active sandblaster/painter who loved fishing and spending time with his children. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Vickers Tanner. Survivors include his wife, Tracy Tanner, 3 children Taylor, Stephen and Dalyn Tanner, father, Herman O. Tanner (Mary), brother Justin C. Tanner (Sarah), grand-parents, A.W. "Sonny" Vickers (Mae), many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Visitation will be Monday, November 8, 2010 from 11:00am to 12:00pm with funeral service at Wilmer First Baptist Church. Interment will be in Wilmer Cemetery. Arrangements by Gilmer's Funeral Home.
