HOPE, Jordan S. died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Curtis C. Daly, 1217 East Sixty-first at 9 a. m. March 8, 1921, aged 69 years. He was born in Jacksboro, Tenn. Oct. 28, 1851; leaves a widow, Susan Hope, one son and five daughters. William S. Hope [William F. Hope], Miss Lucy S. Hope, Mrs. Lena Daly and Mrs. Laura Fleshner, all of Kansas City, Mo. Mrs. Ellen Davis of Iola, Kas., and Mrs. Mae Bailey of Ekalaka, Mont. Mr. Hope had been a resident of Missouri 49 years, most of the time he spent around Excelsior Springs, Mo., in Clay and Ray counties. Short services at home with Mrs. Daly 2 p. m., March 9; burial Thursday, 2 p. m., Pisgah cemetery, Ray County, Missouri.
