Mrs. Laura Belle (Gordon) Freseman, former Butte resident, died Thursday in Helena after a brief illness.
Mrs. Freseman lived in Butte for twenty years before moving to Helena two years ago to work for the Unemployment Compensation Commission. She was a charter member of the Insurance Women of Butte, active in Butte Women's Club, and a member of the Christian Church.
She was born June 14, 1907, in Lewistown, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Gordon, Fergus pioneers. She graduated from Fergus County High School, Lewistown.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. B.F. Gordon, Lewistown; a daughter, Joyce Freseman, Mesa; a son, Allan, New York City; a sister, Mrs. Zelma Sylvester, Oroville, Wash.; a brother, E.L. Gordon of Havre. There are four stepchildren, Keith Freseman, Helena; Mrs. Imogene Barnes, Helena, Mrs. Ava Smith, Chicago, and Mrs. Patricia Mitchell, Albuquerque, N.M.
Burial in the family plot of the Moore Cemetery.
