Lyons - Mrs Lewis Kennedy, 74, a resident of Rice county practically all her life, died at 3:15 p.m. Saturday in the Lyons hospital. She had been ill 10 days.
Mrs Kennedy was born Apr. 12, 1878, in Mt. Air, Ia., but was brought to Rice county by her parents when she was one year old. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors are her widower, of the home in Lyons; two daughters, Mrs Lillian Braden, Phillipsville, Calif., and Mrs Lucille Liner, Wichita; two sons, Wilbur, Kanopolis, and Howard, Lyons; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Crawford-Miller chapel with Rev. L. O. Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Lyons cemetery.
