Mrs. Eva M. Shafer, 68, of Camden, died a t 7:40 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 1977, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. Born Aug. 1, 1908, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Thomas M. and Mattie Mae Sink Frantz. She was married at Camden to Ira L. Shafer, who survives. She was a member of the Lower Deer Creek Church of the Brethren. Surviving with the husband are a son, Joe Dean Shafer of Logansport; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Kleckner of Camden; two brothers, Galen Frantz (20086492) of Walton and Vernon Frantz of Rt. 1, Camden, and six grandchildren. Two sisters preceded her in death. Services were Monday at the Sullivan Funeral Home, Camden, with the Rev. John Laprad officiating. Burial was in the Camden Cemetery.
