SERVICES CONDUTED FOR
COUNTY PIONEER SUNDAY

Last rites for Mrs. Izora F. Baker , Grady County pioneer were conducted at 1:30 p. m. Sunday in the Minco Church of Christ , Lester Stowe, minister officiating.
A Choir composed of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Scott, Mrs. Lydia Scott. Mrs. Lester Stowe, Mrs. Charlie Morris and Mrs. Robert Wynn sang, "Old Rugged Cross".
In the Morning of Joy, and "No disappointments in Heaven"
Burial was in the Hazel Dell Cemetery under the direction of the Reynolds Funeral Home.
Izora Frances Peavler, daughter of Frank and Amanda Peavler, was born Sept 17, 1864 in McLean County, Illinois and passed away early Saturday morning in Minco at the age of 93 years 3 months, 17 days, resulting from a stroke on Dec 9, 1957.
At the age of 9 years she moved with her family to Missouri. At the age of 18 in October of that year, she was united in marriage to Louis Baker, at Lynn county Missouri to this union 5 children were born. Two children, Ora and George proceeding her in death, also her husband who passed away on June 17, 1905.
Mrs. Baker came to the Minco community in 1892.
Sister Baker was baptized into Christ in her early twenties.
She is survived by her son's Walter Baker, Minco; two daughters; Mrs. Stella Morgan, Minco and Mrs. Fannie Calahan, Macomb Okla., One sister and three half sisters, her grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends
