Mrs. Etta McMunn, aged 80, of M-- 7, Ellwood City 'Wurtemburg' died at the Ellwood City hospital, Thursday morning a few minutes after she was admitted. She was stricken with a ceregbral hemmorrhage, the previous evening.
Born in Princeton, April 11, 1872, she was a daughter of the late John and Kate Lambert Wimer. Her husband, C.E. McMunn, preceded her in death in 1931.
Mrs. McMunn was a member of the Slippery Rock Presbyterian church and the Ladies Aid society of the church. She had resided most of her life in the community where she died.
Surviving are six children, Mrs. Grace Farley, Wurtenberg; Mrs. Pearl Schantz, Beaver Falls; Mrs. Ruth Foreman, Knox; Ralph and Elmer McMunn, Wurtemburg, and Miss Belle McMunn, at home; 28 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Jane Campbell of this city.
Services will be held in the Slippery Rock Presbyterian church Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with her pastor, Rev. Ralph L. McConnell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The body is at the Patton Memorial home, Sixth street, Ellwood City, where friends may call today and Saturday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. At approximately 12:30 p.m. Sunday, the body will be taken to the church, where it will lie in state until the hour of the service.
