Danvers - Catherine Matthews, 95, formerly of Danvers, died at 7:30 am Saturday at Heights Colonial Manor, Peoria Heights. Her funeral will be 11 am Tuesday at the Otto-Argo Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service.

Mrs Matthews was born Dec 18, 1883, In Danvers, a daughter of Henry and Elsie Benhof Lilienthal.

She married Clarence Matthews Nov 15, 1927, at Peoria. He died Aug. 29, 1961.

She is survived by a son, Cleo F Weber, East Peoria; two sisters, Elizabeth Lilienthal, Shamel Manor, Normal, and Emma Loy, Danvers; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, six brothers and four sisters.
