Margaret Cooper Chestnut, 86, wife of the late Vernon S. Chestnut, of Hwy. 471, died Friday, November 5, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Chestnut was born in Conway, a daughter of the late Homer and Sadie Edith Martin Cooper. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mrs. Chestnut loved flowers, spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Chestnut Todd and husband, Freeman, Marsha Chestnut Cooper and husband, Silas, all of Conway; four grandchildren, Debbie Roberts, Freeman C. Todd, Jr., Kathy Harper, and Tina Cooper Causey; eight grandchildren, David Thomas Roberts, Jr., Demi Teal Roberts, Chadwick Harper, Bridgette Harper, Ashley Todd, Cliff Todd, Sydney Causey, and Cooper Causey; and a special nephew, Bobby Suggs and wife, Pam.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, with Rev. Mike Kinlaw officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the funeral home.
