Died at age 74 after a long bout with cancer. Born in Stoughton WI. Moved to Racine WI where he went to school and later attended the University of Wisconsin. Entered employment of Wisconsin Power and Light Co in Fond du Lac in 1926. Transferred to the Madison office on 1937 and worked for over 40 years. Active in Industry affairs, member of Public Information programs, member of the Atomic Power Development Associations Publicity Committee and a member of the Wisconsin Utilities Assn. Member of Bethel Lutheran Church, a 32nd Degree Mason with Hiram Lodge No. 50 in Madison, Consistory and Zor Shrine. Preceded in death by wife Dorothy LaLonde and survived by second wife Florence Hanold, son Don, sister Mrs. W.L. Peterson of Racine and four grandchildren (Don, Eric, Kurt and Kristin Johnson), nieces and nephews.
