Rodney Eric Little, 63, of Stanfield, NC, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010, at Carolinas Medical Center – NorthEast, Concord, NC.

Mr. Little was born October 18, 1947, in Stanly County. He was preceded in death by his father, Julius Ranzy Little; mother, Pauline Tucker Little; and brother Carl "Buck" Little.

Rodney served in the U. S. Navy. He later became owner and operator of Little's Wood Works until his retirement. He also enjoyed collecting and restoring antiques.

Visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m., Sunday, Nov.7, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The funeral will be Monday, 2:00, in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Midland. Rev. Bruce League will officiate and interment will be in the Locust Presbyterian Cemetery.

Survivors include nephews Tony Allen Little of Locust and Randy Dale Little and wife, Jean, of Midland; nieces, Tracy Staton of Midland, Holly McCurrach of Concord and Maggie Gwaltney of Concord; special friend Jo Holman and a number of cousins and lots of friends; and his beloved dog, Eddie.
