Mrs. Kathrean D. Chatham, 85, of Parker, passed away Thursday, November 04, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Franklin County, GA, and had lived in Bay County since 1957. Mrs. Chatham was a wonderful wife and loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family at their campsite at Mossy Pond. She was a member of the Parker United Methodist Church, and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her many pets and stray animals.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Joshua Lee Chatham.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Roy L. Chatham of Parker; her children, Cheryl Stanley of Alford, FL, Wanda Stailey of Lynn Haven, Charles T. Chatham of Parker, James R. Chatham (Kimberly) of North Ogden, UT, Richard S. Chatham of Fountain, and Kevin L. Chatham (Denita) of Springfield, FL; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM Monday, November 8, 2010, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Willie Gray and Rev. Donnell Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Mrs. Chatham's sons and grandsons will serve as her pallbearers.
