Funeral services for Mrs. Calista Averill Otis, 97 years old, who died Tuesday night in the home of her son, Frank Averill, on Roosevelt road, east of Geneva, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in the chapel at 64 East Wilson street, Batavia. Mrs. Otis was well known in Kane county. She leaves 9 sons and daughters; 18 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Frank Averill is a former superintendent of the Kane County home in Batavia.
