William Finley Eastman, 64, of 536 South Newton, died this morning in the state hospital at Mt. Vernon. He was a retired machinist with the Frisco Railway, and had lived in Springfield for the past 32 years, moving here from St. Louis. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and a veteran of World War II. Survivors are his wife, Maude; three step-daughters, Mrs. Louis Holloway, 536 South Newton, Mrs. Paul Hilbert of Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Gerald Stuart of New Albany, Ind.; three brothers, Guy, of Los Angeles, Webster Eastman of New Albany, and Vern of Hardensburg, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Mohn of St. Louis. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Ralph Thieme. (Leader-Press, Springfeild, MO, Wed., Sept. 5, 1962)
