When James Udall Anthony, Sr. 1808, Woodstock, Vt. who was Bertha's Grandfather, died, it was when Hanover and Dartmouth were just starting the medical part at Hanover, and they asked his wife for his body for medical study. She refused and they told her they would get it. So he was buried at night in a cemetery in sight of his aunt's home between Woodstock & White River Junction."
