Margaret P. Ticino

MERIDEN - Margaret P. Ticino, 67, wife of Salvatore Ticino, died on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at MidState Medical Center after a brief illness.

Born in Meriden on May 22, 1938, she was the daughter of Lottie Marosz of Middlefield and the late Henry J. Marosz. She was raised in Middlefield before moving to Meriden, and had attended local schools in Middlefield. Mrs. Ticino was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Theresa Ticino, who cared for her loving mother for the past year, Kathy of Pennsylvania, and Mary of Meriden; five grandchildren; one sister, Charlotte Marosz; two brothers, Jackie Marosz and Bobby Marosz. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Henry Marosz.

The funeral will be held on Monday, at 9:15 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, and at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association of CT, Inc., 45 Ash St., East Hartford, CT 06108-3272.
