Mrs. Etta Owen, wife of Mr. Fred Owen of Little Prairie, died at the home of her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Babcock, on Sunday morning last. The funeral services were held at the house, and her remains were interred in the Little Prairie cemetery. She leaves a husband and child to mourn the loss of a devoted wife and mother. The funeral was largely attended.
The deceased was quiet and unassuming in her ways, but always firm in her convictions of right and one in whom her parents felt they could safely trust. She did in possession of the christian's hope.
