Steve Bentley, age 56, of Monroe, died on Oct. 8, 2010. He was born in Decatur on Oct. 1, 1954, to the late Kenneth Bentley and Rebecca Cole Bentley.
Surviving are wife, Connie Bentley, of Monroe; daughter, April Bentley, of Monroe; son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Allison Bentley, of Monroe; sister, Julie Bentley, of Ellijay; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike Bentley, of Douglasville, Rusty and Diane Bentley, of Stockbridge, and Jimmy and Mona Bentley, of Jackson.
Funeral services were Oct. 10 at Mt. Vernon Christian Church with Dr. Gene Acuff and the Rev. Kader White officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Vernon Christian Church Cemetery.
Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
