Funeral Services for Stanley Leo Winka, of Elgin, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 5, 2010 in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Elgin, with the Rev. Kevin Butler officiating.
Burial with honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
A visitation will be held on Friday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass.

Born March 30, 1920 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Theodore and Mary Winka, he died November 2, 2010 at his home in Elgin.

Stanley married Alberta Kaiser on May 17, 1952. He was a veteran of World War II and worked for Container Corporation of America until his retirement in 1981.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta Winka of Elgin; daughters, Kathy (Ron) Wilson of Palm Springs, California, Marilyn (Steve) Masler of Memphis, Tennessee, Sandy (Robert) Stephanites of Elgin, and Laura Winka of Kalamazoo, Michigan; grandchildren, Chuck and James Galindo, Johnathon and Jessica Wilson, Jena and Ami Masler, Mary and Lia Stephanites, and Bradley Winka; brother, Ray (Irene) Winka of Flora; and sisters, Stella Eberlen of Pasadena, California and Lucille Winka of Littleton, Colorado.
