..................................................................,
Grandma Dunn died at her home in Drakesville, February 11, 1895, at the good old age of 77 years, 5 months and 19 days.
Sarah Miller was born in Monroe county, West Virginia, October 20, 1817. With her parents she removed to Indiana when she was eight years of age. At the age of fifteen she was converted, and united with the Methodist church. When eighteen years of age she was married to Andrew Dunn. Soon after her marriage she united with the Baptist church of which she remained a faithful member until death. Her home has been in Iowa since 1847. She was the mother of nine children six of whom remain to love her memory, and follow her footsteps. She has been feeble and infirm for a few years and was ready to meet the last messenger--ready for the New Jerusalem. After a short funeral service at the home, conducted by Rev. Samuel Thero, the body was borne to the Dunnville cemetery and tenderly laid to rest.
