WIMBERLY - Nathan E. Eason was born March 30,1939, in Baytown, Texas. He died March 2,1999. He was the son of Alfred and Lou Burnet Eason.

He attended Dickinson and Clear Creek schools and served 20 years in the Coast Guard. He worked for the City of San Antonio as a city bus driver nearly 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Eason.

Survivors are his wife, Betty; daughters, Kimberly Brooks and husband, Bradford, Diedra La Combe and husband, Patrick; son, James Eason and wife, Debra; sisters, Vivian Coleman and Donald, Velma Murphy and husband Cecil, Esther Murphy and husband, Billy, Sophie Chasteen and husband Benny, Faye Brooks and husband E.G. and Connie Smith; brothers, Raymond Eason and Edwin Eason; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and special friends, Rick and Madalyn Johnson.

Services and burial was at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio. Mission Park North, San Antonio in charge of arrangements.
