GRANBURY - Charlie Hoyler, 66, owner and operator of Charlie's Auto Parts, died Thursday, July 26, 2001, at home, pronounced at Lake Granbury Medical Center.
Funeral: Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Burial: Fall Creek Cemetery in Hood County.
Mr. Hoyler was born November 25, 1934, in Johnson County to Otho Eugene and Lee Ellen Willis Hoyler, growing up in Godley, Texas. He was the oldest of 3 sons.
He married Billie Jean Cash, July 31, 1954, at the Acton Baptist Church, Acton, Texas. Together, they had 5 children.
Charlie served in the USAF, and later a military contractor. He owned and operated Charlie's Auto Parts and Salvage Yard in Granbury from 1965 until his death.
Charlie was a member of Acton Baptist Church and Hood County Sherriff's Posse.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles W. Hoyler Jr.; mother, Lee Ellen Hoyler; and a brother, James Franklin Hoyler.
