Vickie Lynn Totten was born Jul 11, 1950 in Long Beach, Los Angeles, California. She was the daughter of John Marion Totten and Lola Elizabeth Wilson. She was the second of four children. Vickie grew up in Bellflower, California and attended Mayfair High School in Lakewood. Vickie worked in payroll accounting for years. She married on Aug 1, 1970 in Bellflower, California to Michael Eugene Wheeler. Vickie loved animals and always had them around. She became interested in turtles and took care of wounded turtles, as well as buying and selling them. A few years before she died, she and her husband moved to Elgin, South Carolina. She died on Jan 12, 2009 in Elgin, Kershaw, South Carolina and was cremated.
