Elizabeth Thallemer Obituary researched by John Monk:

"Aug. 7, 1848 – June 10, 1926
South Bend Tribune 6/10/1926

Mishawaka - When relatives of Mrs. Elizabeth Thallemer went to her room this morning at 8 o'clock to serve her breakfast, they found she had died during the night or morning, in her residence, 517 Forest Avenue. Mrs. Thallemer was 77 years old and had come to this city 55 years ago from Chicago.

Her parents Mr. and Mrs. William Leyes came to this country from Germany and she was the eldest of 12 children.

She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Aug. 7, 1848, and was married to Alois Thallemer Oct. 15, 1882. He died March 16, 1905.
