Hattie passed away at her home, 34 Brooklyn St. in the Village of Portville after a long illness. She had lived in Portville most of her life and was a member of the Portville Presbyterian Church and Tyler Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. At the time of her death she was survived by one daughter, Mrs. R.L. Hatch of Portville; Three sons, Leon J. of Buffalo, NY., Caryl O. and Harry E. of Portville; Seven grandchildren, four great grand children and one sister, Mrs. Belle Brooks of Sheffield, PA. The funeral was held at her home on Nov. 5, 1943.
