James Edgar Lingafelter passed away at Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital at the age of 73. He was born to Clyde and Conchetia Lingafelter, and had worked as a tool pusher in the oil field industry. He was married to Joyce on April 19, 1952. James is survived by his wife, Joyce of Carlin, NV; son, James A. (Karen) Lingafelter, grandson, Matthew of Longview, TX; daughters, Kimberly S. (Bill) Riley and their sons, Jeff, Skyler and Dylan of Spring Creek, NV and Rebecca Joyce (Bernard) Valdez and their children, Jennifer and John Rankin; brothers, Jack Lingafelter of Bradley, IL, Jerry Lingafelter of Jackson, MO, and Rick Lingafelter of Joliet, IL; sisters, Elizabeth Wood of Grayville, IL, Carolyn Turner of West Frankfort, IL and Pat Elwell of Claremore, OK; six grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
