"The remains of Mrs. Racheal Manley were brought from Nortonville, Friday morning on the Santa Fe Passenger and conveyed to the M.E. church where the funeral sermon was preached by Rev. Otto. The remains were then taken to the cemetery.
Mrs. Manley was 74 years old when she died, She had been suffering with Lagrippe for the last four weeks. She was a true Christian and a member of the M.E. church of this place."
Gravesite Details She was the daughter of Isaac Carmack and Mary Campbell. She married Garlington Manly Feb 23, 1837 in Newport, Vermillion Co, Indiana.
