George Manley Sr, who resided about five miles southeast of Meriden was found dead in bed Monday morning. He was in town Saturday and on Sunday was up and around seemingly as well as usual but about four o'clock the next morning, the family were awakened by a noise in his room and on reaching his bed, found him expiring. It is thought that his death was caused by a paralyte stroke. The funeral, which was quite largely attended occured Tuesday. The services were held at the M E church, of which, Mr Manley was a devout member. Deaceased was about 77 years of age and has been a resident of this county for a number of years.
