Final rites will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Akron church of God for Mrs. Alta M. HOFFMAN, 70, R.R. 2, Macy, who died at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn hospital. The Rev. Harold CONRAD will officiate. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call at the Haupert funeral home in Akron and at the church one hour prior to services.
Born Sept. 14, 1901, in Starke county, she was the daughter of Arrond and Millie BERGER. Her marriage was in 1921 to Oart YARIAN. He died in 1946. Her second marriage was to Ellis HOFFMAN in 1947. He survives. She was a member of the Akron Church of God.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Orville (Lulu) BUCKHEISER, Akron, and Mrs. Leonard (Helen) BEIGH, Akron; one son, Otis YARIAN, Newaygo, Mich.; two step-sons, Don HOFFMAN, North Manchester, and Dean HOFFMAN, Wichita, Kans.; eight grandchildren; six great-brandchildren; six step-grandchildren.
