ZANESVILLE -- Kimberly Lynne Dennis, 51, died at 10:45 p.m. June 29, 2008, at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital following a six-month battle with cancer.
Kim was born May 3, 1957, to James and Wanda Jones Dunkle. She was employed by Zanesville City Schools as head cook at Grover Cleveland Middle School. She was a member of OAPSE.
In addition to her parents, Kim is survived by her daughter, Carrie; sister, Krista (John) Story of Elkton, Md.; niece, Amanda Crotzer; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kim was blessed with friendships of Teresa Hollingshead, Vickie and Bob Ritchie, Patty Osborne and Georgeanne and Jack Wilson, who helped care for her during her illlness.
Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald and Virginia Jones and Arthur and Lillian Dunkle.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle St.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
