Leonard B. Dill, a 17-year resident of the area, died Oct. 23, 2010, in Benson, Ariz., at the age of 84. He previously lived in Pryor Okla. He was born Oct. 1, 1926, in Chickasha, Okla. to Berry and Lola Dill. He was a retired road foreman in Oklahoma and lifetime farmer/rancher.
Visitation was Oct. 27, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Richardson's Remembrance Center in Benson. Graveside services followed at 3 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson, Ariz. Honorary pallbearers were Lanny Dill and Joseph Dill. Pallbearers were Leonard Dill, Dennis Dill, Grant Dill, Logan Dill, Lonnie Dill and Dustin Dill.
Survived by his wife of 51 years, Bessie; son, Lanny; daughter, Lynnann; seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Arthur and Leo; sisters, Rucilla, Alma and Jewel. Preceded in death by his mother and father, several brothers and sisters, and his beloved son Norman."
