Third Street Resident Succumbed to Pneumonia After Six Days' Illness

Jacob L. Augustine passed away Sunday morning at ten-thirty at his home on Third Street. He was taken ill last Tuesday with influenza and pneumonia. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Baptist Church with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green, Ohio.

Mr. Augustine was born in Wyandotte county in 1855 and was 63 years old at the time of his death. He had resided in this city for a number of years and followed the occupation of carpenter. In 1874 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Etta Underwood. His wife preceded him to the grave on March 14, 1913.

Surviving are the following children; Oliver M. Augustine, Bowling Green; Jeese Augustine, Findlay; Bert Owen and Paul Augustine, Toledo; Mrs. Ira (Gladys) Sherman, Weston; and Mrs. Bert Volker, Toledo. A host of friends mourn his death.
