Composer. Born in Philadelphia, he attended Columbia University before pursuing a long career in the composition of musical theatre and films. His most successful compositions include "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square", "A Fine How Do You Do", "Keep Cool Calm and Collected", "It Must Be You", "Boys in the Band", "The Moment I Saw You" and many more. He died in Los Angeles, California.
