Widow of Cameron Legislator Dies at Home of Sister Here

Mrs. Sam Hefley, 62, wife of the late Sam Hefley of Cameron, member of the legislature from Milam County for several years and operator of a motion picture house there, died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the residence of her sister, Mrs. John Clavin Jones, 309 Everton.
The body will be sent overland to Cameron today for burial in a family plot at 2:30 p.m.
Mrs. Helfey was a daughter of the late Dr. Nathan Cass, well known Cameron physician. Her husband died in 1935.
Besides her sister. Mrs. Helfey is survived by a brother, Nathan Cass of New York City.
