ST.IGNATIUS--Camron Jay Branson, infant son of Anasta McDonald and Kalem Branson, died on June 5,2002, in Ronan.
His ancestry includes Angus and Catherine McDonald, Margaurite Charlo McClure and Chief Martin Charlo; grandparents and great-grandparents Jim Cates, Louis McDonald Sr., Florence and Bud Silvas, William "Pinto" McClure, Lydia and John McDonald, Mary and Dan Sherwood, Jock Thomas Hendrickson, George Branson, Alma (McDonald) Branson and Elmer "Mickey" Turnage.
Survivors include his parents of St. Ignatius; his grandparents, Sue Sherwood, Ben McDonald and Arles and Doug Branson; his great-grandparents, Felicite "Jim" McDonald and Angelic "Dottie" (McClure) Cates (all of St. Ignatius); uncles Travis and Doug Branson Jr. and Michael Matt, aunts Carol Ann Matt, Mary Matt, Mary Jo Matt and Michaelanne Mahseelah; and numerous great-aunts; great-uncles, cousins and local relatives, as well as relatives from the Idaho and Washington reservations and in California.
A traditional wake began June 6 at the Longhouse. Services were June 7. Interment followed at the St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Kean Tall Whiteman and Bronson McDonald.
Foster & Durgeloh Funeral Home of St. Ignatius assisted the family with arrangements.
